I'm Coleen, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by!
I'm just another girl in this crazy world with an undying affinity for darkness, horror and Halloween. Ever since I can remember I've been wanting to bloody up anything I could get my hands on. My earliest memory of this has to be my 3rd grade Halloween carnival...I was going as a bride in white, then all of a sudden little 8 year old Coleen thought to herself, "This is NOT right..." So my awesome mother produced fake blood and make-up and voila! Dead Bride.
I credit my late mother to my obsession with horror and gore as I remember spending many days watching Alfred Hitchcock and Vincent Price films with her, and especially remember popping in our VHS copy of Army of Darkness. To this day, I watch an absurd amount of horror, from the cheapest D list horror to all the classics, young and old.
I just want everyone to love the wonder and beauty of the Halloween season as much as I do. To have passion for something, and to have the freedom to enjoy that passion is truly a wonderful gift and something great that I want to bestow upon all those who cross my path! Lucky you for crossing my path!
When I'm not here, I work in a gym, I spend time with my cats Osiris and Ichabod (who are orange and black, respectively, for obvious reasons). I also enjoy karaoke, reading, going to school, Rennaissance Faires, cooking, and planning next years Halloween party!
